Rapid Transfers

Introducing Rapid Transfers

With Rapid Transfers, you get the flexibility and control you need to manage your money with confidence.

What are Rapid Transfers?

Rapid Transfers allows you to move money quickly between your First Heritage account and accounts you hold at other financial institutions. Transfers are processed in near real time, because of secure card technology. Funds are typically available within minutes, not the next business day like a traditional ACH transfer. Whether funding a new account or moving money between external accounts, users can initiate transfers anytime – day or night, weekday or weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started with Rapid Transfers is simple, you'll need:
  • A First Heritage checking or savings account, and
  • An external bank account with a debit card
For security purposes, the name on your external debit card must match the name on your First Heritage account.
A small fee is charged for this service.
  • Push to Card (sending funds to another financial institution):
    1.75% or a $0.50 minimum per transfer

  • Pull from Card (receiving funds into your First Heritage account):
    0.74% or a $0.50 minimum per transfer
Rapid Transfers are a "me-to-me" transfer feature. Funds can only be moved between accounts that are under the same name. Venmo®, CashApp®, and Zelle® are "peer-to-peer" payment platforms designed to let you send money to other people or accounts you don't own.
Rapid Transfers are designed with multiple security safeguards:
  • Account name verification
  • CVV code requirement during enrollment
  • Two-factor authentication
If the name on your First Heritage account doesn't match the name on the external debit card, enrollment won't be allowed.

Protect Yourself From Scams

Scammers may pretend to be your financial institution, a government agency, a business, or someone you know to trick you into sending money or sharing sensitive information.

Never provide your password, one-time security code, PIN, debit card number, or other security credentials to anyone who contacts you unexpectedly. First Heritage will never ask you to disclose these details to complete or “protect” a transfer.

If someone pressures you to make a Rapid Transfer, asks you to move your money to a “safe” account, or tells you to keep the transaction secret, stop and verify the request through a trusted phone number or official channel before proceeding.
